All SLT 2010 participants are cordially invited to the SLT 2010 Welcome Reception, which will take place in the Claremont Hotel on Sunday, December 12 between 6-8 P.M.

Wine and cheese will be served in a casual setting with a spectacular view of San Francisco Bay Area from Berkeley Hills. The reception features will start at 6 P.M. and end at 8 P.M. Come enjoy your evening with the accompaniment of your colleagues.

Workshop Banquet Dinner

Tuesday, December 14, 18:30-21:30, Lawrence Hall of Science

All SLT 2010 participants are cordially invited to the Conference Banquet to be held on Tuesday, December 14 in the Lawrence Hall of Science (LHS).

The reception features a full-course meal served in a casual seated setting with a spectacular view of San Francisco Bay Area from LHS and with live music. Buses will depart after the last session of the day. Doors will open at 6:30 P.M. and will close at 9:30 P.M.

The workshop banquet will feature several attractions. LHS organizes an exhibit Scream Machines: The Science of Roller Coasters, which is a head-spinning, stomach-churning exhibition for thrill-seekers of all ages. Interactive exhibits, artifacts and images invite visitors to explore the physics of roller coasters and the physiology and psychology of thrill-seeking.
